Set in the 80s, a troupe of artists led by singers, Gulli and Sohni from a rustic Punjab town are given land the opportunity to perform in the UK. There they stumble upon a lottery ticket that shows them dreams to get rich quicker than their talent of singing. In a comic sequence of events, the ticket is lost, forcing the group to fall back on their skill of being musicians to fulfil their families’ aspirations.
